Activate Corona
After installation, you need to activate Corona. The process differs depending on your version:
Start Cinema 4D.
Go to Render Settings and set Corona as your active renderer.
If you are not logged into your Chaos account, a notification pop-up prompts you to sign in.
Click Sign in.
Sign in with your Chaos email and password.
If you have an active Corona subscription, you are done - your license is now activated! You can just return to Cinema 4D and start rendering right away.
To access Chaos Licensing or your Chaos account, go to the Corona Menu > About... and select License server to access the Chaos Licensing, or Chaos account to access your account.
If you have a Corona Premium license, to download the other Chaos Products included (Chaos Phoenix, Chaos Scans, Chaos Player), visit the Chaos Downloads Page.

Start Cinema 4D, set Corona as your active Renderer.
Go to the Corona menu (at the top of the Cinema 4D window) > About, and open the Chaos Corona About window. Click on Activate license.
The Chaos Licensing interface opens in your internet browser. Sign in with your email address and password (the same you use to activate Corona or other Chaos products).
- If you have an active Corona license, you are done - your license is now activated! You can return to Cinema 4D and start rendering right away.
- If you do not have an active subscription, you will see a dialog box open in Cinema 4D where you can click Activate Trial, which will add a license for the Trial onto your Chaos account - and now you are done, your trial license is activated! If you would like to use the full capacity of your Corona renderer, we recommend opting for a full license, which you can purchase on the chaos website.
