Bug Fixes


PhoenixFD

  • Cannot use a Bullet Solver body in the Body Force
  • Cannot create a Quick Setup over Bullet Solver bodies
  • When a Quick Setup preset is added to an object, you can add another source to it
  • Could not replace a geometry in a Source once it's used for a Quick Setup preset
  • Alembic files cannot be added to the sources through the button
  • After simulating some frames and then closing Maya without saving, caches are not deleted
  • Undo command while simulating freezes Maya
  • Changes made by Reset to Defaults button in the Volumetric Settings do not participate in the undo/redo history

Simulation

  • Crash when simulating more than 178 million liquid particles
  • Liquid disappears when it hits a jammed wall
  • Liquid passes through static thin geometry and foam and splash can be born through such walls
  • Changing steps per frame during Liquid simulation leads to a crash
  • Maya crashes when liquid source discharge is extremely high

Rendering

  • Bubble highlight jitters in animation when using dome light or opposing point or area lights
  • Ocean Rendering hangs at low altitude when the container is far away

  • Error when opening the GPU Preview Rollout
