This page provides information on the Render Stats Node in V-Ray for Blender.

 

Overview


This node allows you to make the object invisible to different rays during rendering.

Node


Primary Visibility (Visibility) – Controls the total visibility of the object.

Camera – Controls the visibility of the object for camera rays.

GI – Controls the visibility of the object for GI rays.

Shadows – Controls whether or not the object casts shadows.

Reflections – Controls the visibility of the object in reflections.

Refractions – Controls the visibility if the object in refractions.

Base Material – Specifies the surface material that the additional settings will be applied to.

 

Parameters


Camera Visibility – When disabled, the object will not be visible to camera rays.

Gi Visibility – When disabled, the object will be considered perfectly transparent to GI rays.

Reflections Visibility – When disabled, the object will appear perfectly transparent to reflection rays.

Refractions Visibility – When disabled, the object will appear perfectly transparent to refraction rays.

Shadows Receive – When disabled, the object will not receive shadows.

Shadows Visibility – When disabled, the object will be invisible to shadow rays from lights and will not cast shadows.

Use – Enables the Render Stats node.

Visibility – Controls the overall visibility.
