This page provides information about the Dome Camera attributes in V-Ray for Blender.

Overview

V-Ray includes Dome Camera attributes for the Blender native camera. The Dome Camera is a spherical camera that allows you to render images projected on hemispheric dome screens. When you use it with a FOV of 360 degrees, it gives you an image that you can use with a V-Ray UVW Mapping node, set to Projection, whose mapping type is set to Spherical.

The V-Ray Dome Camera comes with a limited amount of settings. In order to control the render exposure, you can use the Exposure control settings in the Color Mapping tab of the Render settings (note that the color mapping type must be set to Reinhard).
