The Export Materials to USD option allows V-Ray materials to be exported to USD files. This makes V-Ray materials easily transferrable between host platforms. You can access this option from the V-Ray menu > Tools > Export Materials to USD.

Materials to Export – Determines whether one selected V-Ray material, or all V-Ray materials in the scene are exported.

All – Exports all V-Ray materials in the scene.
Selection – Exports only the selected V-Ray material.

Export Displacement – When exporting V-Ray materials with Displacement and/or Subdivisions, enable this option to export those attributes along with the shader.

Output USD File – Specifies a location and a name for the created USD file.
