Since V-Ray Next, Update update 2 the direct lighting contribution of the single scatter Simple component in the VRayFastSSS2 material is isolated in the VRayLighting render channel.

In V-Ray version 3.6, the direct lighting contribution of the Simple single scatter of the VRayFastSSS2 material went to the VRaySSS2 render channel.

Setting the single scattering to None, makes the effect disappear.
