OverviewThis guide serves as a reference for enabling the Free Trial provided by Chaos. Note that you cannot download a free trial, if there is already a commercial license installed on your machine. To run a free trial, you will need to:

This takes you to the Chaos login page.
If you already have an account, you just need to sign in with your credentials.

If you do not have an account, click Create account, fill in your Email and create a Username and Password. Then click Continue.

The following screen appears. Activate your account with the provided activation link from your email.

The activation button from the email takes you to the page below where you fill in your First and Last name, Country or region and your Company name (optional).

Your account is ready to use. Click Sign in and access with your credentials.

You are then prompted to Sign in. If you don't have a Chaos account, click on Create account to create and activate a new account.

4. Select your product and the version of your host platform. Download and install the file and you are ready to go. |
If you need to try more than one product with your trial, repeat the download steps for all the products you'd like to try.

Sign in to the License ServerNext, you have to sign in to the License Server. Open the Manage Chaos License Server |
app. It automatically loads the License Server in a new webpage. Alternatively, |
enter 127.0.0.1:30304 |
in a browser. |
From the drop-down menu |
of Online licensing, |
click Sign in |
and enter your credentials. The login credentials are the same you use to log in |
to chaos.com. Once you enter them, your License Server and V-Ray for Maya trial will be active.
