The PhxShaderCache V-Ray Volume Grid Cache node allows you to load and visualize a simulation cache. It is used with the PhxShaderSim node V-Ray VolumeGrid Shader node to create a Volumetric Grid. While the PhxShaderSim V-Ray VolumeGird Shader node controls the rendering and shading properties of the volumetric cache, this node controls how the volumetric geometry is loaded during rendering. Channel Mapping
Different applications use different channels and might have different names for them. When loading f3d/vdb files, V-Ray tries to automatically make the conversion to the supported channels. If a channel is not mapped by default, a channel can be manually set from the dropdown menu.
