Activate the License
Chaos Licensing is the bridge between the Chaos Product (Anima) and the Chaos Account associated with a given license. You cannot use any Chaos product without a license.
You connect to the License Server by installing the license application locally on your machine or by a using a (remote connection to) floating license from a shared pool of licenses.
Local Chaos License Server on This Machine
After the installation is complete, you are redirected to the Chaos License Server's Interface. If you are not signed into a Chaos account, go to the Online licensing dropdown menu and select Sign in.
You are then prompted to enter your username/email and password.

Floating Licenses

Floating Licenses If you have multiple Anima licenses, they can be shared between multiple users and devices in one of two ways.
- The easiest way to do so is to use My Chaos Portal options and enable Floating licensing sharing. See how in the Cloud-Based Floating Licensing article or video included.

can be used completely online or within a local network, depending on the setup.
To use an online floating pool, your Administrator needs to add you to their Organization. This sends an automatic email confirmation, which also contains a link you can use to create an account, if you don't have one yet.
After that, you can follow the same activation steps as above to connect to the online floating pool.
- Proceed with a default installation.
- Sign in with your Chaos Account when prompted.
