Chaos offers a free trial of Corona for Cinema 4D before purchasing. The trial period has no restrictions within the software such as watermarks. This means that what you see in the trial is exactly what you will get if you have a paid subscription.

The Corona Free Trial activation consists of the following steps:

• Go to the trial page and start your free trial
• Complete the checkout processRegister a new account or sign into an existing one at www.chaos.com.
• Download Corona.
• Install Corona.
• Start Activate your trial .license

The steps below guide you as a first-timer on how to activate the trial license.

• If you see a green dot next to Online licensing and a Corona icon listed under your products - you are good to go!
• If you see a Sign in button - click on it and proceed with the sign in process.

You can choose whether your license is Named or Floating, whether you want the Solo or Collection product bundle, and if you would like the subscription to be monthly or annual. For new users, please use this link to register an account: https://accounts.chaos.com/register Once registered, you will receive an email from Chaos to confirm your account. If you do not receive the email, please check your spam folder in case it has been filtered there. This can be found here: https://my.chaos.com/download/build?product=Corona Column width 35% UI Step UI Step Install Trial Product Run the installer and complete the installation process as explained on the Installation Process page.Image Added UI Step Section Column width 60% Complete the Checkout Process Enter your email address and billing details, and complete the checkout process.  Activate License Open up Cinema 4D and set the renderer to Corona. You are presented with a pop-up window. Click Get a free trial and follow the prompts. redNote: If you cannot see the Get a free trial button in the pop-up window, close the window and try again by setting Corona as your active renderer or starting a render.  UI Text Box color light- cyan icon info Billing starts automatically after the free trial. After completing the checkout process, you will receive an account setup email from Chaos. Back in Cinema 4D, the Chaos licensing pop-up window should disappear.  Column width 30% 1. Click the Download button to be redirected to the Active Products page in my.chaos.com. Image Added 60% Column width 5% Chaos Corona for Cinema 4D is now active on your system. You can confirm this from the Corona dropdown menu in the About tab. A successful activation switches the "Activate license" button to the "Release license" button. Alternatively, you can also check the status of your license in the Chaos License Server.  Column width 35% UI Step 30% 2. • If you see a Sign in button - click on it and proceed with the sign in process.
• If you see a green dot next to Online licensing and a Corona icon listed under your products - you are good to go!

Cancelling the Subscription

If you wish to cancel the subscription, you can do so from the Active Products page of the my.chaos website. The Cancel subscription link is located next to the Auto renewal status.

Click on the link, fill out the questionnaire, and you will disable the auto renewal. You can continue using the trial until its expiration date, but it will be removed from your account and will not renew after that.
