This page contains information about the V-Ray Referenced Shader node.

Overview

...

The V-Ray Referenced Shader node is a utility node whose sole purpose is to provide means for a simplified shading network when working with complex materials. When the 'VOP Node' parameter is pointed to any V-Ray VOP node, the same outputs present on the referenced node will appear on the Referenced Shader VOP. This functionality can greatly simplify the material network in case multiple materials are referenced from separate material networks or HDAs.
