Overview
The V-Ray Personal Learning Edition (PLE) license for Maya is a free license with a duration of three months. You can renew it seven days before its expiration from my.chaos.com. Note that you can extend the license as many times as you need.

Steps
To renew your V-Ray Personal Learning Edition (PLE) license for Maya, sign in to my.chaos.com.
The installed PLE license can be found under Products → Expired products.
Press the Get again button to renew the license for three more months. Note that the button becomes visible seven days before the expiration of your PLE license.
Next, you will be redirected to a new screen. Select how you will use the product and click on Start Now.

Another way to renew your license, is to sign in to www.chaos.com, press PRODUCTS and choose V-Ray for Maya from the drop-down menu.
Scroll down to the V-Ray Personal Learning Edition for Maya section and press LEARN MORE.
A new window will open. Press GET STARTED.
In the newly opened window, select how you will use the product and press START NOW.
Once the site processes the request, you will see the message shown below and another 90 days will be added to your license duration.
