Directories

Here you can specify the installation path.

The image shows the default path for Windows. Player will install in /usr/Chaos/Player on Linux, and /Applications/Chaos/Player on macOS by default.



Add firewall exceptions – Automatically adds firewall exceptions so Chaos Player can run uninterrupted.


Licensing

In this step, you can specify whether the license server will run locally or on another machine.

Choose Local if you are using a named license or you connect to an online floating pool.

Choose Remote if you will use a floating license from a Chaos License Server that runs on another machine in your local network.

Please leave the port 30304 unchanged. An alternate License Server can be used for redundancy.

At the end of the installation you can choose to participate in the Chaos feedback program. No intelligence property is violated when agreeing to participate in the feedback program. Chaos does not gather scenes, assets, materials, etc. This preference can be changed anytime by running the installer again. See the Chaos Telemetry page for more details.
