Overview

Listed below are some very handy and useful tools that enhance the user experience and workflow when working with Chaos Vantage. Some of the tools are available with the installation of Corona for Cinema 4D, and others are available with the installation of V-Ray for Cinema 4D.


V-Ray for Cinema 4D Tools

The following tools are available if you have V-Ray for Cinema 4D installed.

Vantage Live Link

Create, assemble, and modify your scene, and see your changes update instantly in Chaos Vantage.

Vantage Animation 

Render animation made in Cinema 4D with Chaos Vantage while in Live Link.                                             


Corona for Cinema 4D Tools

The following tools are available if you have Corona for Cinema 4D installed.

Start Vantage Live Link

Starts or stops the Vantage Live Link. In this mode, scene changes are automatically synced to Vantage, similar to interactive rendering.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 

Export and open in Vantage

Exports the scene data directly to Vantage and automatically starts rendering in Vantage. A scene exported using this option does not require both software to remain open. In this case, the live link is not created, so the scene does not get updated automatically in Vantage.       

Render animation in Vantage

Starts or stops exporting your animation to Vantage. This sends the current frame and timeline data from Cinema 4D to Vantage. In Vantage, you can then choose which frames to include. Once rendering begins, Corona automatically uploads the selected frames to Vantage.
