VRayEnvImg Overview


The VRayEnvImg map can be used to load high dynamic range images (HDRI) and map them onto the environment. Supports most of the standard HDRI-environment mapping methods.

VRayEnvImage


File name - specifies the name of the file currently loaded

Mode - This parameter determines how the texture is mapped.

  • Angular - environment mapping in angular mode;
  • Cubic - environment mapping in cubic mode;
  • Spherical - environment mapping in spherical mode;
  • Mirrored ball - environment mapping in mirror ball mode;
  • Screen - the texture is mapped directly on the screen from the current camera view.

Transformations


flip U - flips the environment horizontally. This option is ignored if the Screen Mode is selected.

flip V - flips the environment vertically. This option is ignored if the Screen Mode is selected.

Horizontal rotation - allows rotation of the environment map left and right. This option is ignored if the Screen Mode is selected.

Vertical rotation - allows rotation of the environment map up and down. This option is ignored if the Screen Mode is selected.
