Steps

HQ Snapshot rendering

You can render a high quality snapshot from the current view.

  • Go to Tools > Render a High Quality Snapshot or use the Vantage_Bottom_Bar_quality.png button in the bottom toolbar.
  • In the pop-up window, you can set the Resolution, Denoiser and the Samples as well as other parameters related to the render. Here, you can also select the camera type output: Perspective, Cube 6x1 (single or stereo), Stereo Cube 6x1, Spherical (single or stereo), Stereo Spherical, or Orthographic.
  • Choose the output directory, name and format.
  • When the render is in progress, you can Stop and save the frame if the quality is sufficient, or Pause, or Abort the render.

Enable the Save as defaults option to set the current output settings as your default.

HQ Sequence rendering

You can also render a high quality sequence from a set of camera sequences or imported scene animation in the animation editor.

  • Go to Tools > Render a High Quality Sequence or use the Vantage_Bottom_Bar_quality.png button in the bottom toolbar.
  • In the pop-up window, you can set similar parameters like in the High Quality Snapshot - Resolution, Denoiser, Samples, Camera type as well as other parameters.

Enable the Save as defaults option to set the current output settings as your default.

The more Samples you use, the better the quality of the render, but at the cost of render time. The larger the resolution you set, the more resources(RAM and VRAM) are needed.
