Overview
Cloud-based floating licensing allows you and your team to use a shared pool of Floating licenses entirely through the cloud. This allows users to use licenses from any location without the need to be on the same local network or connect to an office network through a VPN.
In the cloud-based floating license setup, the owner of the floating licenses is the administrator of the Chaos organization. The administrator can use the my.chaos portal, add users to their Chaos Organization, and share the floating licenses with them.
The users install the product with all default installation options and log in with their Chaos account. This set up requires users to have Chaos accounts, but at the same time the floating license can be accessed from any location by the user.
