This page provides information on activating and using your Chaos Phoenix Free Trial.


Overview


You cannot acquire a standalone trial for Phoenix; it is included only with V-Ray and Corona Collection product bundles.


The Chaos Phoenix Free Trial activation consists of the following steps:

  1. Go to the trial page and start your free trial
  2. Complete the checkout process
  3. Download Chaos Phoenix 
  4. Install Phoenix 
  5. Activate your product

If you already have a commercial license, you are not eligible for the free trial.


Steps

Visit the Free Trial Page

Go to the Chaos Trial Page and click Start your trial under the product you would like to try. You can choose whether your license is Named or Floating, and if you want the subscription to be monthly or annual. Phoenix is included only with the V-Ray and Corona Collection product bundles. Complete the Checkout Process

Enter your email address and billing details, and complete the checkout process. 

Billing starts automatically after the free trial. Cancel before it ends to avoid getting billed.



Activate your Chaos Account (non-registered users)

If you already have a Chaos account, you can skip this step.

After completing the checkout process, you will receive an account setup email from Chaos. Use the link in the email to set a password and activate your account.  



Download and Install Your Product


1. Click the Download button to be redirected to the Active Products page in my.chaos.com.



2. Here, again, click the Download button next to the newly acquired subscription.



3. On the Download page, find Phoenix from the list of products and click on Go to other versions. Select Phoenix for Maya from the dropdown and set your Maya and OS versions. Click Download. When the download is complete, run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
