This page provides information on the Chaos Cloud Collaboration options.


Overview


Chaos Cloud collaboration helps you share your work with your team and your clients. Simply invite them to review your images and share their feedback. This speeds up reviews, so you can get your projects done faster.

Signing into Chaos Cloud Collaboration using your Chaos credentials is required once. After that, you are automatically signed in every time you open the Collaboration window.

Workflow



  • Render your scene in the V-Ray Frame Buffer.
  • Open the Chaos Collaboration window. You can open it from the VFB, or from the V-Ray menu.
  • If you have not signed into Chaos Cloud yet, you will be prompted to do so now. Signing into Chaos Cloud using your Chaos credentials is required once. After that, you are automatically signed in every time you open the Collaboration tab.
  • Click anywhere in the window to upload to Chaos Cloud.
  • Select upload destination. A default project folder and project name are assigned, but you can customize them at this step. You can also add additional images for upload from the button.
  • When the render(s) are uploaded, you can choose to continue uploading or to view your renders in Chaos Cloud.


You can upload other images via the Upload image to Chaos Collaboration  button. 

Automatically, there is a default project folder where the images are uploaded to Chaos Cloud Collaboration. You can create multiple projects and folders from the browser.



Virtual Tours


After Uploading your render to Chaos Cloud, you can showcase it and create virtual tours to allow others to "walk around" your scene. For more information, visit the dedicated Chaos Cloud Collaboration page.



Window Options



The Collaboration tab has several sections: Upload files containing a list of images for upload, Recent containing recent projects, and Browse with locations where the images are uploaded.

 – Deletes the current image from the upload list.

 – In the Upload files, uploads the current image in the VFB to Chaos Cloud Collaboration. In Browse, creates a new project or folder.

 – Renames the Upload file.

Upload file – Uploads the image(s) to Chaos Cloud Collaboration in the selected project or folder.

It is also possible to directly drag the images from the Explorer to the Collaboration tab.




After Upload

New upload – Clears the Collaboration tab and prepares it for the new upload of images.

Open in Cloud – Opens the uploaded images in the Chaos Cloud Browser.
