This page provides information about the UVW Object node in V-Ray for Cinema 4D.
Overview
The UVW Object is a context node that changes the object's UV position, scale, sheer, and rotation. When this node is attached to a texture map’s Context port, it overrides the material assignment parameters of that texture. The UVW Object node interpolates between the coordinates of the intersection point in Object Space - where the light ray hits the object's surface. This makes this context node ideal for editing the placement of procedural textures on procedural geometries, objects with complex or non-existent UVs, fog, and similar effects, as it does not require pre-existing UVs.
Properties
Transform . P – Specifies how to position the map.
Transform . R – Specifies how to rotate the map.
Transform . S – Specifies the scale of the map.
Transform . Sh – Specifies a shear for the map.
Transform . Order – Specifies the order of prioritization of the rotations.
