This page provides information on the Chaos Telemetry program.
Overview
The Chaos Improvement Program is based on telemetry. It allows Chaos to track general Product usage statistics and to automatically collect crash information. The information collected includes what Product functionality and/or parameter values people use most often, which helps Chaos to optimize and improve the Product's performance. No scenes, assets, or materials are collected. The collected data is sent when V-Ray exits and is stored locally in text files.
The files can be found in the temp folder C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\ChaosGroup\telemetry .
Enable Feedback Program
The Feedback program is enabled by default when you run the installer. After a successful installation on the last page there is a checkbox toggle Help us Improve V-Ray for Unreal to enable or disable the customer feedback program.
Feedback Program Settings
Collection and transmission of usage statistics can be disabled or renewed at any time through the V-Ray Project Setting in Unreal
