This page provides information on the V-Ray scene and mesh formats in V-Ray for Unreal.

 

Overview

 V-Ray offers two geometry formats for ease of use in Unreal.

 

 

 

 

V-Ray Scene

The .vrscene file format contains all of the needed assets for a scene render, including geometry, materials, textures, lights, cameras, etc.

V-Ray Proxy

The .vrmesh file format imports geometry, handled at render time.
