This page provides information on Telemetry integration for the V-Ray for Revit Improvement Program.

Overview

The V-Ray improvement program is based on telemetry. It allows Chaos to track general V-Ray usage statistics. The type of information that is collected includes some parameter values people use most often, which lets Chaos optimize and improve V-Ray's performance. No personal identifiable information, scenes, assets, or materials are collected.

The daily collected data is stored locally in vray-telemetrics (V-Ray for Revit 20xx).log files viewable with a text editor. The files can be found in the Windows temp folder C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local

Enable Feedback Program

The Feedback program is activated by enabling the Help us improve V-Ray for Revit checkbox, available upon completing the V-Ray for Revit installation.
