This page provides details on the Licensing settings available in V-Ray for Revit.

 

 

 

 

Licensing

Obtain License on start-up – Enable this option in order to automatically obtain V-Ray license upon starting Revit. This option is disabled by default to provide users with flexibility in cases where:

  • The number of Revit licenses exceeds the number of V-Ray licenses.

  • Users are planning to share their V-Ray for Revit license/s across multiple machines (and multiple users respectively).

If enabled, the first users that launch Revit will also automatically pull a V-Ray license, whether the intention is to use V-Ray in that session or not.


Usage Statistics

Send anonymous statistics – Collection and transmission of usage statistics can be disabled or renewed at any time through option. For more information, visit the Chaos Telemetry page.
