Chaos offers a free trial of Corona for 3ds Max before purchasing. The trial period has no restrictions within the software such as watermarks. This means that what you see in the trial is exactly what you will get if you have a paid subscription.

The Corona Free Trial activation consists of the following steps:

• Go to the trial page and start your free trial
• Complete the checkout processRegister a new account or sign into an existing one at www.chaos.com.
• Download Corona.
• Install Corona.
• Start Activate your trial .license

The steps below guide you as a first-timer on how to activate the trial license.

You can choose whether your license is Named or Floating, whether you want the Solo or Collection product bundle, and if you would like the subscription to be monthly or annual. To learn more, see: Chaos Suite offerings. Create an Account Register an account in order to use and activate the trial, or use an existing Chaos account. For new users, please use this link to register an account: https://accounts.chaos.com/register Once registered, you will receive an email from Chaos to confirm your account. If you do not receive the email, please check your spam folder in case it has been filtered there. This can be found here: https://my.chaos.com/download/build?product=Corona Install Trial Product Run the installer and complete the installation process as explained on the Installation Process page. If you see a Sign in button - click on it and proceed with the sign in process. Column width 60% UI Step Complete the Checkout Process Enter your email address and billing details, and complete the checkout process.  Activate License Open up 3ds Max and set the renderer to Corona. You are presented with a pop-up window. Activate your Chaos Account (non-registered users)

After completing the checkout process, you will receive an account setup email from Chaos. Use the link in the email to set a password and activate your account.

3. On the Download page, choose the 3ds Max version you are using and click Download for Windows. When the download is complete, run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

If you see a green dot next to Online licensing and a Corona icon listed under your products - you are good to go! Back in 3ds Max, you may notice that the activation window is still open. Click Retry to close this. Column width 60% Complete the short survey to continue and finalize the activation process. Column width 5% Column width 35% UI Step Activate License When you open up 3ds Max and set the renderer to Corona, a pop-up window appears. Click Sign in. Section Column width 60% Chaos Corona for 3ds Max is now active on your system. You can confirm this by going to from the Render Setup > System > About Chaos Corona/Licensing . If your license is active, you will see the Online Help button instead of the Activate license... button. rollout. A successful activation switches the Activate license button to the Online help button. Cancelling the Subscription

If you wish to cancel the subscription, you can do so from the Active Products page of the my.chaos website. The Cancel subscription link is located next to the Auto renewal status.

Click on the link, fill out the questionnaire, and you will cancel the subscription.
