Starting with V-Ray 7 Update 1 and Corona 12 Update 2, the content of the Chaos Scans Library is also available in the Materials category of the Chaos Cosmos Browser.

Do I need a license to render and edit Scans materials?

Scans materials do not require a separate license to be downloaded and rendered from the Chaos Scans Library or the Chaos Cosmos Browser. However, they require a dedicated Chaos Scans plugin license to be edited.

Users of versions prior to V-Ray 6, however, need a render license. Otherwise, the Scans materials will render with a watermark. Find more information at Compatibility and Licensing.
