This article explains the settings and values for the Corona Render Spline tag.

Overview

The Corona Render Spline tag is a solution to provide the ability to render a spline (or group of) without having to create a new geometry object so the line can be visible to the renderer. This is a render-time effect, so the final look of the spline won't be visible in the viewport.

Tag Properties

Render – When enabled, the spline is rendered like any other geometry object using a cylindrical-like shape for its width.

Width – Sets the width of the spline. The width can be manually adjusted to vary along the spline using the built-in curve editor for this.

Render as plane – By default, this tag creates a cylindrical shape for each of the spline segments; when enabling this checkbox will change this behavior and will use a plane-like shape instead.

A material (Corona Legacy or Physical) can be applied to the spline when using a Render Spline tag.
