This page provides information on the Chaos Improvement Program for Corona for 3ds Max.
Overview
The Chaos Improvement Program is based on telemetry. It allows Chaos to track general usage statistics. The type of information collected includes the parameter values that people use most often, which will enable Chaos to optimize and improve the performance of Corona. No intelligence property is violated.
Enable Chaos Telemetry
Once Corona for 3ds Max is successfully installed, you are invited to participate in the Chaos Improvement Program. By choosing to participate you can contribute to the improvement decisions for the future versions of Corona.
Your participation involves sharing anonymized telemetry, with the option to enable personalized telemetry too.
With Anonymized Telemetry, you share data on frequently used features and parameter values without any personally identifiable information. With Personalized Telemetry, you share the same data as with Anonymized Telemetry, along with information tied to your user license, enabling Chaos to further optimize the product for your specific use.
Chaos Telemetry Settings
You can change the telemetry settings directly in 3ds Max at any time after installing Corona. To access the settings, go to the Corona System Settings window through the Render Setup window > System Tab > System Settings. Make sure Corona is set as the current renderer.
Enabling the Send Product usage data (takes effect after 3ds Max restart) option launches the Chaos Improvement Program for Corona. For more details, refer to the System Tab page.
