This page provides information about the UVW Transform node in V-Ray for Cinema 4D.
Overview
The UVW Transform node adjusts a Bitmap Node in position, rotation, scale, and sheer. The values set in this node only add to the transformations already applied in the material assignment of the texture. This context node requires that UVW is already present for the object. UVW set in the UVW Transform node needs to be relative to the real size of the geometry; otherwise, the result is not visible.
Properties
Transform . P – Controls the map position along the X, Y, Z axes.
Transform . R – Controls the map rotation along the X, Y, Z axes.
Transform . S – Controls the map scale along the X, Y, Z axes.
Transform . Sh – Controls the map sheer along the X, Y, Z axes.
Transform . Order – Specifies the order of the X, Y, Z controls:
Local YXZ/ Global ZXY
Local XYZ/ Global ZYX
Local ZXY/ Global YXZ
Local XZY/ Global YZX
Local YZX/ Global XZY
Local ZYX/ Global XYZ
Pivot – Determines the coordinates of the pivot point, around which the texture is rotated. By default, the pivot is placed in the bottom-left corner of the texture, assigning a different value moves it along the U, V or W coordinates, respectively. Negative values can also be assigned.
