This page provides information on obtaining access to the V-Ray Free Trial for Chaos products.
Overview
This guide serves as a reference for enabling the Free Trial provided by Chaos.
Access the Free Trial products
Go to www.chaos.com and click Try in the upper right corner.
On the Free Trial page, select Start your trial.
This takes you to the Chaos login page.
If you already have an account, you just need to sign in with your credentials.
If you do not have an account, click Create account, fill in your Email and create a Username and Password. Then click Continue.
The following screen appears. Activate your account with the provided activation link from your email.
The activation button from the email takes you to the page below where you fill in your First and Last name, Country or region and your Company name (optional).
Your account is ready to use. Click Sign in and access with your credentials.
Downloading a V-Ray Product Trial
After signing in, you are directed to the following screen. Select your industry and role and click Continue.
Select your primary tool of choice and your host platform and click Continue.
Your Free Trial is active for the next 30 days. Use the Download trial button in order to go to the Download section. Please note that the product listed under Tool of choice differs according to the host platform selected in the previous step.
Select your product and the version of your host platform. Download and install the file and you are ready to go. If you need to try more than one product with your trial, repeat the download steps for all the products you'd like to try.
Sign in to the License Server
Next, you have to sign in to the License Server. Open the Manage Chaos License Server app. It automatically loads the License Server in a new webpage. Alternatively, enter 127.0.0.1:30304 in a browser. From the drop-down menu of Online licensing, click Sign in and enter your credentials. The login credentials are the same you use to log in to chaos.com. Once you enter them, your License Server and V-Ray for SketchUp trial is activated.
