This page provides information about the Chaos Cloud node in V-Ray for Houdini.


Overview

The Chaos Cloud node allows you to submit a render job from V-Ray for Houdini to Chaos Cloud for rendering.

Parameters

Upload to Chaos Cloud – Submits the currently open scene for rendering in Chaos Cloud.

Valid Frame Range – Specifies how to obtain the frame range.

From ROP – Takes the settings for the render job from the connected V-Ray Renderer node.
Current Frame – Renders the current frame only.
Frame Range – Renders a specified range of frames.

Start/End/Inc – Specifies a Start frame, End frame and Increment frame manually when the Valid Frame Range is set to Frame Range. 

Override Camera Resolution – When enabled, overrides the camera resolution.

Resolution – Specifies a camera resolution for the render job when Override Camera Resolution option is enabled.



Main

Project – Defines in which project to save the render job.

Job – Sets the name of the render job.

Client Update – Updates the Chaos Cloud Client app.



Export

Export Directory – Specifies a temporary directory to export data from job uploaded to Chaos Cloud.
