This page explains how to get again your V-Ray Personal Learning Edition (PLE) license for Maya.
The V-Ray Personal Learning Edition (PLE) license for Maya is free for three months. You can get it again after its expiration from my.chaos.com. Note that you can extend the license as many times as you need.
If you already have an active license, go to my.chaos.com→ Products→ Active Products to download the latest build. |
To get your expired license again, sign in to www.chaos.com, press Product & E-Commerce, and choose V-Ray for Maya from the drop-down menu.
Scroll down to the V-Ray Personal Learning Edition for Maya section and press LEARN MORE.
A new window will open. Press GET STARTED.
You will be prompted to log in with your Chaos account.
Select how you will use the product in the newly opened window and press START NOW.
Some additional information is required at this step.
Once the site processes the request, you will see the message below and have a new license available for another 90 days.
If your license has expired, you can download it again by following the steps from How to Download and Install V-Ray Personal Learning Edition for Maya.
If you have an active PLE with seven days or less until the expiration date, follow the steps shown here.
Navigate to my.chaos.com and find the V-Ray Personal Learning Edition (PLE) for Maya product. Click Renew.
Fill in and submit the survey that appears, and you will have another 90 days available to your license duration.
