Start Anima Designer


You can start Chaos Anima from the Start menu, or from the desktop shortcut created with the installation.

Chaos Anima Licensing requires Internet connection at all times. 

If Anima loads a licensing error, make sure you have uninterrupted Internet access first.

Anima in 3ds Max



If you opted to install Anima for 3ds Max, upon launching 3ds Max, you can find Anima's menu.

Anima in Cinema 4D


If you opted to install Anima for Cinema 4D, upon launching Cinema 4D, you can find Anima's menu under Extensions.

Anima in Unreal


If you opted to install Anima for Unreal Engine, upon launching Unreal, you can find Anima's menu under Edit.

For Anima Drop in 3ds Max, Cinema 4D and Unreal Engine, a running Chaos license is required. 

Make sure you have uninterrupted Internet connection and you have signed in your Chaos license account.

What's New in Anima 6:

  • Branding and Licensing: Anima 6 features a refreshed logo aligning with the Chaos brand and introduces network licenses, allowing teams to share access. 
  • Smart Traffic Simulation: A significant new feature is the introduction of tools for simulating realistic urban traffic. This system generates vehicle routes that adhere to international traffic regulations and coordinates interactions between vehicles and pedestrians. A growing library of animated vehicles with customizable appearances is also included.
  • Improved User Interface and Performance: The software boasts an efficient new user interface and a next-generation graphics engine. These improvements lead to faster performance, smoother playback, and better rendering, especially in complex scenes. 
  • Feature Demonstration: The video includes a demonstration of the new traffic simulator, showcasing its setup and use. It also highlights the user-friendly interface, improved performance, and how to adjust vehicle and pedestrian paths, add traffic lights, and customize vehicle colors.
