This page provides information about Chaos Anima's menu.
Overview
Chaos Anima's menu consists of five submenus: File, Scenes, Edit, View and Help.
The Home button leads you to the Welcome screen.
File
New project – Creates a new project.
Open project – Opens a browser for Chaos Anima project files.
Merge project – Opens a browser for Chaos Anima project files. When a project is selected, it is merged with the currently opened project.
Save – Saves the changes to the current project.
Save all – Saves the current project and all the scenes opened at the moment.
Save as – Saves the current project to a location of your choice.
Recent – Opens a list of recently used project files to load.
Close – Closes the current project without exiting Anima.
Settings – Opens the Settings window.
Import pack – Opens a browser for packed projects (.anipack files).
Export pack – Collects all the assets used in the project and pack them in a single file with the *.anipack extension.
Exit – Closes Anima.

Scenes
New - Creates a new scene within the opened project.
Load – Loads a scene from the currently opened project.
Merge – If you want to open a scene from another project, you first need to Merge the scenes from that project into the current one, and then you will be able to load the scene as any other local scene.
Save – Saves the changes to the current scene.
Save all – Saves all the scenes opened in tabs at the same time.
Save as – Save a copy of the current scene with a different name/location.
Edit
Undo – Undoes the last action.
Redo – Does the same action again.
Copy – Copies the selected object.
Paste – Pastes the copied object.
Delete – Deletes the selected object.
Group – Groups the selected nodes.
Preferences – Opens the Anima preferences window. See the Preferences information in detail.
View
Welcome screen – Opens the Welcome screen. For more information, see Welcome screen.
Reset hidden messages – Shows again all the messages where "do not show again" option was enabled.
Onboarding on setup – Enables the onboarding helper upon launching Anima.
Full Screen – Opens Anima in full screen mode.
Help
Check for updates – If there is a newer version of Anima than currently installed, this option offers you to download and install it from within Anima.
Documentation – Open the Chaos Anima documentation.
Web – Opens Chaos website.
Tutorials – Opens Chaos Anima Youtube channel where you can find a number of tutorials.
Support – Open Chaos Help Center containing frequently asked questions.
About Qt – Displays information about the Qt library.
About Anima – Open the About window.
About Chaos Anima
Provides information about the Anima version. It also provides copyright information (the Chaos End-User License Agreement and the Chaos Global Consumer Privacy Policy).
The About Anima window is accessible from Anima menu > Help > About Chaos Anima.
