This page provides information about the UVWTransform texture in V-Ray for Cinema 4D.
Overview
The UVW Transform node is used to adjust a VRayBitmap texture's position, rotation, scale, and sheer.
UVW needs to be relative to the real size of the geometry, otherwise, the result is not visible.
Properties
Texture – Determines the VRayBitmap file to be adjusted.
Transform . Off – Determines whether Transform is applied to the X, Y, and Z axes. Setting this option to 1 on either axis removes the transform adjustments from that axis.
Transform . V1 – Controls the map rotation along the X, Y, and Z axes.
Transform . V2 – Controls the map scale along the X, Y, and Z axes.
Transform . V3 – Controls the map sheer along the X, Y, and Z axes.
Pivot – Determines the coordinates of the pivot point around which the texture is rotated. By default, the pivot is placed in the bottom-left corner of the texture; assigning a different value moves it along the U, V, or W coordinates, respectively. Negative values can also be assigned.
