Overview

Starting with V-Ray 6.10.00, Rhino Lights are not automatically converted to V-Ray and cannot be edited in Asset Editor's Light list unless they are manually converted to V-Ray via the vrayLight command. Adjusting any of the V-Ray Light properties in Asset Editor updates them in the Rhino Light panel.

Three additional buttons are added to the Rhino Light properties for enhanced light instancing control of V-Ray lights.

Edit in V-Ray Asset Editor – Opens the Asset Editor and lets you adjust the settings of the currently selected light.

Select Instances – Selects all instanced lights.

Make Unique – The selected light instance is made unique.
