V-Ray Set Range utility texture can be used to ramp a texture or a color.

Properties
Value – The input color or texture.
Old Min – The minimum input value.
Old Max – The maximum input value.
New Min – The minimum value for the ramped result.
New Max – The maximum value for the ramped result.
