This page provides information about the Color to UVW Node in V-Ray for Cinema 4D.

Overview

The Color to UVW node helps adjusting the pattern of various maps according to the UVW of other maps.

Color to UVW node has the same function as the native Cinema 4D Colorizer Shader.

Properties

The U, V, W inputs control the respective axis channels of the input map.

Source – Specifies the map channel:

Automatic (use the one that's set)
Use the single uvw parameter
Use separate u, v, w parameters

Example: Curvature and Color to UVW Node

In this example, the Color to UVW Node helps mapping a Curvature node with a colored Ramp.

Example: Falloff and Color to UVW

In this example, a Ramp node is used along with Color to UVW node to map a Falloff node across the V direction of the image.

Example: Colorize a Bitmap with Color to UVW and Ramp

This example shows a Ramp node that colors a Bitmap image using the Color to UVW node.
