Parametric design visualization

New live link between V-Ray Vision and Grasshopper lets you visualize your parametric designs in
real-time. V-Ray Clipper support makes it easy to render sections and cutaways. And Stereo Camera support now lets you render stereoscopic 3D images.

LIGHTING THAT’S AUTOMATIC

With the new Light Gen tool, lighting your Rhino scene is automatic. In minutes, Light Gen calculates multiple lighting options and shows them as thumbnails. Simply choose the look you want and render.

NEW V-RAY MATERIAL LAYERS

With new built-in Coat and Sheen layers added to the V-Ray Material, it’s faster and easier than ever to create materials with reflective coatings and soft fabrics such as silk, satin, and velvet.

HIGH-RESOLUTION MATERIAL LIBRARY

Get a headstart on your next design project. V-Ray 5 for Rhino comes with access to over 500 render-ready materials with high-resolution 4K textures.

MORE ACCURATE SUN AND SKY

The new Improved Sun and Sky model is more accurate and looks great even at sunrise or sunset when the sun is at the horizon. You can also override the position of the sun and sky with new Custom Orientation controls.
