This page provides information on the Temperature texture in V-Ray for Blender.

Overview

The V-Ray Temperature texture map is typically used in conjunction with specific light sources to emulate a specific value, like a Kelvin temperature. This is very useful for different parts of mesh lights or for mapping the color of V-Ray Light Material, changing it from a warm to a cool value.

Node

Temp – Controls the color temperature value in Kelvins.

Color – Specifies the texture color.

Parameters

Color Mode – Switches between the Temperature and Color modes of the node.

Rgb Multiplier – A multiplier for the intensity of the color.

Alpha – A value for the transparency.

Gamma Correction – A gamma correction to be applied to the color output.
