This page provides an overview of V-Ray's Appearance Manager in Revit.

Overview

The V-Ray Appearance Manager provides control over the appearance of your Revit assets during V-Ray rendering. It allows you to switch the basic Revit assets into photorealistic V-Ray assets at render time, keeping your BIM model completely clean and unaffected.

The V-Ray Appearance Manager incorporates four tabs standing for the different V-Ray assets types provided in Revit: Materials Tab, Families Tab, Global Overrides and Contours.
