The V-Ray Temperature texture map is typically used in conjunction with specific light sources to emulate a specific value, like a Kelvin temperature. This is very useful for different parts ofmesh lights or for mapping the color of V-Ray Light Material, changing it from a warm to a cool value.
This section describes the input sockets of the node. Some sockets have dedicated parameters, which are further described below, and some sockets are just inputs.
Temperature (input socket) – Allows an integer-outputting node to determine Temp – Controls the color temperature value in Kelvins, when Color Mode is set to Temperature.
Color – Specifies (input socket) – Allows a node to specify the texture color when Color Mode is set to Color.

Color Mode – Switches between the Temperature and Color modes of the node.
Temperature – Sets the color using Kelvins when no node is connected. Active when Color Mode is set to Temperature.
Color – Sets the color using a color swatch. Active when Color Mode is set to Color.
Rgb Multiplier – A multiplier for the intensity of the color.
Alpha – A value for the transparency.
Gamma Correction – A gamma correction to be applied to the color output.
