This page provides information about the V-Ray menu integrated in Blender's toolbar.


Overview


V-Ray includes a menu with easy shortcuts to some of the most commonly used V-Ray components.

The menu consists of three sections: the first one displays the V-Ray VFB; the second one includes the Chaos Collaboration and Cosmos integrations; the third one offers quick access to commonly used options in V-Ray for Blender; and the last section contains the help functions in V-Ray for Blender.


V-Ray Menu


MenuDescription
V-Ray VFBOpens the V-Ray Frame Buffer.
Start Production RenderStarts a production render in the VFB.
Start Viewport RenderStarts an interactive render in the viewport window.
Submit to CloudSubmits the current render to Chaos Cloud.
Chaos CollaborationOpens Chaos Collaboration.
Cosmos BrowserOpens the Cosmos Browser.
CamerasOpens the Cameras submenu.
LightsOpens the Lights submenu.
GeometryOpens the Geometry submenu.

Help

Opens the Help submenu.

Chaos account

Opens the Chaos licensing window.

Creates an IES Light.

Creates a Sun and Sky System.

V-Ray Spot LightCreates a Spot Light.
V-Ray Omni LightCreates an Omni Light.

Geometry


Option

Description

V-Ray ProxyOpens the File View window, allowing you to import a V-Ray Proxy file into the scene. 

NOTE

V-Ray Scene is temporarily hidden from the UI. It will be made available again for the official V-Ray for Blender release.
